Tada offers interactive website popups that allow Shopify merchants to collect more emails and increase sales by engaging website visitors through gamification. If any of the Tada popups does not show, it is likely that you have a cookie set (Tada has cookie protection), so we recommend a private no-cookie connection such as Incognito mode in Chrome and/or private window in the other browsers. Another option is to clear the cookies in the app admin area.

At the moment, Tada’s exit intent trigger doesn’t work on mobile. Instead, regular rules will trigger your widget/popup for your mobile users, such as time (show after 5 seconds) or scroll behavior (scrolled 50% of the page). We are currently working on the exit intent trigger for mobile use and we plan to have it ready very soon.
Tada has a cookie protection set, which means that after you visit your shop/website, you might stop seeing the widget/popup for the cookie duration setting time. We suggest to clear your cookies or to try Incognito mode in Chrome. Another option is to change the duration settings in the admin area.
You can show any Tada popup on any page you would like (apart from the checkout page, which is blocked by Shopify). Under “3.Widget Settings”, the first setting is “Where does this Widget show?”, where you can select “All Pages”.
Yes, you can. Under “3.Widget Settings”, the first setting is “Where does this Widget show?”. If you do not wish to select “All Pages”, click on this and scroll down to select a single page or a specific group of pages where the popup will show.
Tada’s time trigger starts from the moment your site fully loads. So please allow for your site to load fully (your website loading speed) + the time trigger you set for your Tada popup. Tada’s Basic subscription is free and is limited to 5,000 impressions per month. The Premium subscription includes 10,000 impressions per month; it includes dedicated support and allows Merchants to remove the Tada watermark. The Business subscription includes 50,000 impressions per month and allows Merchants to add a “Limited Offer” progress bar to create scarcity for users. Tada’s email validation filters out incomplete email addresses, so that users won’t be able to simply type random text in the “email address” in order to play the game and/or receive a coupon code. This validation is really quick and happens in 1 or 2 seconds. In case, the email is not considered valid, the “email address” bar will highlight in red and suggest the email address used is not valid.
We recommend a countdown of 15-30min. This will create urgency without rushing the users away or stressing them.
In your Shopify Admin page, select “Discounts” to review all the Tada coupons that are active and that were used. You can also export the list to review it and sort it quickly in Excel.
Tada features a data dashboard with all the most important stats and analytics you need. From your Shopify Admin page, go to Apps, select Tada and click on Dashboard.
Tada creates unique coupon codes for each user and displays it to them directly in your store. Users can also apply the discount directly to their cart with a quick button click. For users who keep navigating a website after interactive with a Tada ppup, Merchants can choose to show a small widget that will remind users of their discount on every page they visit.
Tada has a cookie set to prevent users from playing the same game more than once. If users clear their cookies, Tada won’t be able to prevent multiple plays per user. However, the percentage of users that knows how to do this and that is willing to do this is extremely small.
Once you’ve enabled the integration between Tada and Mailchimp/Klaviyo, email addresses will be sent automatically to the lists created on Mailchimp/Klaviyo. However, please allow 30 min to 1 hour for emails to get to your list, since those email services usually have a queue.
Have you connected Tada and Mailchimp/Klaviyo already? The best way to test the connection is via the “export to email provider” button on the email part of Tada’s Admin area. If the emails get pushed, the connection works. The process is not instant, it might take up to 1 hour to get the emails through.
Tada is set up so that a customer would always win a coupon code.
Each Tada subscription can be used in only one store.

2. Select ‘Account’ on the top right menu under your account name
3. Click ‘Settings > API KEYS’
4. If you have no key already, generate one by clicking ‘Create API KEY’. Copy the key and paste it into Tada.
